"Core" - 5 x 5 inches - oil on paper

"Core" - 5 x 5 inches - oil on canvas
Day 17 of the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge.  I started this painting at 10 p.m.  I don't usually paint that late but I had a busy day and didn't have a block of time to fit in a painting.  I had planned to paint something else but was hungry so I ate an apple before I started painting.  The apple core made for a perfect subject so I satisfied my hunger and created the perfect model.

love your apple core. I tried my first still life yesterday using 2 apples and, well it didn't posted, so maybe I should try an apple core. Love it.
